Abiding Love Parents' Association 2012-2013 Membership Drive

Last week members of the Abiding Love Parents' Association met with and handed out membership forms to many parents at the children's center. If you did not receive one, they are available for pickup on the shelf next to Terry and Debbie's office.

Please be sure to return your completed forms, along with your membership fee and/or additional donation, to either your children's teachers or the office. 

Donations and membership dues are used to purchase much needed toys, learning supplies and other needed items for the classrooms and outdoor play areas; gifts for the teachers; meals for the faculty during in-service days and for recognition and appreciation; and building improvements.

Ms. Donna's Retirement Party

A Special Event For A Special Lady!

A big thank-you to all who attended and helped make Ms. Donna's retirement party a success! It was truly a wonderful day shared by so many friends, family, and students- both past and present.

There was a beautiful (and delicious) custom cake, heartfelt gifts for Ms. Donna, which included a handmade quilt with a square from each classroom, a hand painted planter with a special message, and the Letters of Love book.

The children's performance was truly a sight to see, and Ms. Donna was visibly moved by all of the love, thoughtfulness, and care that went into the day.

Thank you again to all those who helped with food, decor, and gifts, as well as everyone who shared the day with Ms. Donna.

It's Teacher Appreciation Week (May 7th-11th)

We love our teachers! 

As an ALLCDC (and first time) parent, I am so grateful for the peace of mind that comes with knowing I am leaving my daughter with such loving and caring staff every day. They don't just care for her, they care about her.

Please take a moment to say a special thank you to your children's teachers this week- or any of the teachers you may happen to see as you are dropping your kids off at the center.

Golf Anyone?

The annual 'Chip in for Children' golf tournament raises money for general up-keep and improvements for the childcare facility, which helps keep tuition costs down. Please help the children's center by telling your husbands, friends and family about the event!
